In a stunning move, Chelsea Football Club has reportedly held talks with former Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain manager, Mauricio Pochettino, following the sacking of Graham Potter just a few days ago.
Pochettino has been without a club since being let go by PSG in January of last year, despite leading the French giants to the Champions League final just months prior. The Argentine has been linked with a return to Tottenham Hotspur, where he previously enjoyed a successful five-year stint, but it appears Chelsea has now entered the race for his signature.
The Blues parted ways with Graham Potter after a disappointing run of results, which saw the club slip out of the top four in the Premier League and exit the Champions League at the quarter-final stage. The decision was met with surprise by some fans and pundits, as Potter had only been in charge for one season and had overseen an impressive rebuilding process at the club.
