Jurgen Klopp thinks Chelsea are the favourites for the Premier League, citing their squad as the ‘biggest’. The Liverpool manager won his first Premier League title in 2019/20, finishing a brilliant season on 99 points.
Chelsea are currently top of the league with 22 points whereas Liverpool are 3rd on 21 points with a game in hand.
When asked which team Klopp thinks would challenge for the league this season, the German said, “If I watch football games at the moment then Chelsea, for me, look like favourites. They have the biggest squad, great players playing well together after a rusty start – and they are full on.”
“They have unbelievable opportunities to change in games and make changes from one game to the other – so that is it,” added Klopp.
Liverpool play Wolves at home on Monday, December 7.
