Chelsea FC are ready to complete the signing of the French defender Benoit Badiashile from the Ligue 1 club named Monaco. The French defender has attracted so many big European clubs last summer and also wanted by some.
The English Premier League has restarted after an international break. Chelsea FC have won their first game after FIFA World Cup 2022. Chelsea have done some signings these month as they have brought in a new striker, and a new midfielder ahead of the January transfer window.
The transfer window is about to open from 1st January. Benoit Badiashile is a French defender who has an amazing physic and can also play as left-back. Chelsea are in shortage of defenders as two of their new defenders named Wesley Fofana who they bought from Leicester City in the summer transfer window along with Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli FC are injured. Koulibaly made a comeback after a long break in Chelsea’s last fixture.
“Chelsea are close to complete their third 2023 signing after Fofana and Andrey Santos: deal at final stages for Benoît Badiashile, all parties feel it will be done soon,” tweeted Fabrizio Romano on Thursday.
