The midfielder was substituted in the second half after he misplaced two passes which led to Liverpool’s goals. Following this, rumours were out that the midfielder is planning to leave United but Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that he will continue at Old Trafford and will try to win back his position with his performance.
The Brazilian international struggled to find his rhythm, misplacing two crucial passes in the first half that directly led to goals. Manager Erik ten Hag opted to substitute Casemiro in the second half, further fuelling speculation about the midfielder’s future at Old Trafford.
However, renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has dismissed these rumours, confirming that Casemiro is determined to stay at the club. Romano reported that the experienced midfielder is focused on regaining his form and fighting to win back his place in the starting lineup.
Casemiro joined Manchester United in 2022 from Real Madrid and was phenomenal in stabilizing the club’s midfield last season.
