Brazilian midfielder Joao Victor extends his contract with Hyderabad FC for two-year

Brazilian midfielder Joao Victor has extended his contract with Hyderabad FC for two years until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Indian Super League club Hyderabad FC has extended Brazilian midfielder Joao Victor’s contract until the end of the 2022-23 campaign. The club confirmed the contract extension via an announcement on Friday.

“Hyderabad FC have retained Brazilian midfielder Joao Victor, who signs on a two-year extension till the end of the 2022-23 campaign,” announced the club on Twitter.ย 

The 32-year-old have played a vital role in ease in both midfield and defence for the Hyderabad FC squad that ended just outside the top-4 in the season of 2019-20 of the Indian Super League (ISL).

“I am really happy to extend my stay with the club and continue being a part of this amazing family,” the Brazilian midfielder Joao Victor expressed his attitude after penning the extension.

“Our target was to win every game and it will be the same again this season. And I hope, we can do better than the 5th place finish from last season,” the former La Liga midfielder who had entered the club back in August of the year 2020, added.

The Brazilian has appeared for 17 starts under the head coach Manolo Marquez the previous season. He has netted three goals and provided two assists.ย Victor has also captained for his side on a couple of circumstances through the course of the campaign.
