Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson Moreas signs new Manchester City contract until 2026

The Brazilian goalkeeper has officially resigned his contract with Manchester City which will make him stay until 2026.

Manchester City has officially announced that their goalkeeper Ederson Moraes has penned a long-term deal at the club. The Brazilian’s previous terms were due to expire in the year 2025, but his new deal will now be set to commit to this club until the summer of 2026.

Ederson has now followed Belgium star Kevin De Bruyne, Portugal’s Ruben Dias, England’s John Stones and Brazil’s Fernandinho in penning contract extensions in the recent months. Ederson has always proved to be the best goalkeeper in the Premier League by delivering stellar and scintillating performance not only with clean sheets but also giving assists for the team.

Ederson Moraes in his recent press conference was very happy with his decision as he mentioned “I’m very happy at the club, in this city and my family has settled in very well”

He also further added by saying “This was an easy decision for me because there’s nowhere else where I want to be”. While speaking about his team he said “ To be a part of one of the best squads in world football and compete for trophies every year is what all footballers want ”.
