Borussia Dortmund is reportedly in contact with Jadon Sancho’s agents with the aim of convincing him to return to the club this summer. The English winger has endured a difficult two seasons at Manchester United, struggling to replicate the form that made him one of the most sought-after young players in Europe.
Sancho joined Manchester United in the summer of 2021 for a fee of around €85 million, but has struggled to live up to expectations at Old Trafford.
Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, have endured their own struggles since Sancho’s departure. The club finished third in the Bundesliga last season, behind Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig, and were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Champions League by Manchester City.
However, Dortmund are hoping that a return to the club could reignite Sancho’s form and help them compete for major honors once again. The 23-year-old enjoyed a hugely successful spell in Germany, scoring 50 goals and providing 64 assists in 137 appearances for the club between 2017 and 2020
