Ben White has rejected England call-up, manager Gareth Southgate himself has confirmed this in an interview. He said White called Southgate and himself said that he doesn’t want to be included in the squad this time. Fans feel that it is because of his some personal matter.
There is a matter of concern regarding the Arsenal’s defender Ben White and fans want to know what was the reason that he rejected the England Call-up. Manager Gareth Southgate said that he and White don’t have any problem between them.
There is no such fight between the two as per the manager Gareth Southgate. “We had a call from Arsenal saying Ben didn’t want to be considered for England selection at this time,” said Gareth Southgate in an interview as reported by Italian Football journalist Fabrizio Romano via his social media handle.
English defender Ben White reportedly on the verge of signing a new contract at Arsenal. This was also confirmed by Fabrizio a few weeks ago. As per reports, Ben White is set to sign a new deal at Arsenal until 2028 which means it will be a 4-year contract. However, Ben White is not having a great season so far as he was injured for a period and now he will not play in the international games for England.
