Bayern Leverkusen has won the round of 16 game against Qarabag FK to advance to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League 2023-24. Bayern Leverkusen won the second leg by 3-2 to make it 5-4 in aggregate.
Leverkusen with this victory has made it 37 games unbeaten. Manager Xabi Alonso is definitely cooking something with the club as he hasn’t lost a single game this season. Not only in the Europa League, but also in Bundesliga, Leverkusen are on the top of the table.
Bundesliga table toppers were losing this second leg battle against Qarabag FK as they were trailing by 2-0 in the second half. But started off in 72nd minute, Bayer scored three in a row to make it 3-2 in the end. This was one of the great comeback wins for Leverkusen this season.
Fans felt that this could be their first loss of the season and the loss would have thrown out of the league (UEFA Europa League 2023-24). However, never giving up is the moto of Bayer Leverkusen’s players and yet again find the win. Leverkusen now have qualified for the last 8 spot and will now be facing some big teams.
The other teams making in the quarter-finals of the competition include Liverpool, AS Roma, AC Milan, Benfica, etc.
