Spain International player Ferrán Torres will sign a five-year deal as a new Barcelona player in a few hours. The Spaniard will be brought to the La Liga club for €55m while €10m will be added to the Manchester City.
Italian journalist and football expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the deal is done and will be officially announced by the club in the upcoming hours. “Ferrán Torres to Barcelona, done deal confirmed and here we go! The agreement bas been completed for €55m plus €10m add ons to Manchester City,” tweeted Fabrizio. He also told that the Premier League forward and soon to be Barca player has always been the focus for Barcelona’s new manager Xavi Hernandez.
Fabrizio also tweeted that the forward may be present in Barcelona tomorrow for hia medical and to sign the contract officially while the club has been working on the statement that will be released along with the Premier League club Manchester City.
For now, the club is operating with the procedures with the Spanish forward before he is brought into the La Liga club that might be announced within 24 hours.
Barcelona is currently struggling in the league with 28 points in 18 games and is placed 7th in the table. Rival club Real Madrid is at the top with 43 points followed by Sevilla and Real Betis. Reigning champions Atletico Madrid are at 5th with 29 points in 17 games.
