Football Club Barcelona has suffered another huge blow as their star front man Sergio Aguero is once again sidelined and this time it might be for a longer period than the club would have liked. It all happened on Saturday when Aguero was subbed out in the first half after he complained of chest pain. Later that very day he was taken to a hospital where they ran some tests on him.

It was on Monday when the club put out a statement that the striker will be out for three months. Following this, according to Reuters, Barcelona came out with a statement in which they said, “Aguero has been subjected to a diagnostic and therapeutic process by Dr. Josep Brugada. He is unavailable for selection during the next three months. The effectiveness of treatment will be evaluated in order to determine his recovery process.” The interim manager of Barca has given insight regarding Aguero, he said that the striker is calm and confined to his room for the time being.
The 33-year-old joined Barcelona from Manchester City in a free transfer. Thus far he has only featured in 5 games in all competitions and managed to score just 1 goal.
The Catalonian side is to take on Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday evening and then Rayo Vallecano, later at weekend, before heading into the international break.
