FC Barcelona won the game against Ad Ceuta to register themselves in the last 8 of the Copa del Rey. The game between the Spanish Supercopa winners (2022/23) and AD Ceuta was played on Thursday night, 19th January at Alfonso Murube Stadium (AD Ceuta’s home stadium).
Barcelona scored 5 without even conceding a shot on target from AD Ceuta in the round of 16 game. FC Barcelona scored their first goal in the 41st minute of the game which was scored by their winger Raphinha. Barcelona were leading by 1 goal to nil in the first half.
Lewandowski didn’t take much time in the second half to get on the scoresheet. Another young winger Ansu Fati scored in the 70th minute which made the scoreline 3-0. Franck Kessie also named himself on the scoresheet before Lewandowski completed his brace in the 90th minute of the game. Barcelona are now into the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey and their opponents will be decided once all the games of the round of 16 is played.
