Barcelona have defeated Mallorca in the La Liga by 5-1 last night to secure all three points and stay intact at the top position. Barcelona have now 37 points, 4 above Real Madrid who have played two less games then them. Madrid still have a chance to go above the side of they won both of their games in hand. Ferran Torres scored the opener in the 12th minute and then Raphinha had two, before Frenkie De Jong and Victor put it back of the net.
Barcelona delivered a dominant performance last night, defeating Mallorca 5-1 at the Spotify Camp Nou to further solidify their position atop the La Liga standings. With this emphatic victory, Barcelona now have 37 points, four ahead of rivals Real Madrid, who have two games in hand.
The Catalan side wasted no time asserting their authority, with Ferran Torres opening the scoring in the 12th minute. Raphinha then stole the spotlight, netting a superb brace to give Barcelona a commanding lead. Frenkie de Jong added his name to the scoresheet, followed by a strike from Victor, rounding off an impressive attacking display.
While Barcelona currently sit comfortably at the top, Real Madrid remain in contention. Should Los Blancos win both of their games in hand, they could reclaim the top spot, intensifying the title race.
