The German international’s current contract with Leverkusen expires in 2025, and he has made it clear that he will not extend his stay with the Bundesliga side.
Initially, Bayern Munich seemed to be in pole position to sign the 28-year-old, but Barcelona have emerged as the frontrunners in the race for Tah’s signature. The Catalan giants see him as a key player to strengthen their backline, especially as they continue to rebuild under Xavi Hernandez.
