Aubameyang scores his first two goals for Barcelona in their 4-1 win over Valencia

The Gabon international scored his first two goals for FC Barcelona today since he arrived at the Spanish club in February.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finally scored for FC Barcelona since he arrived for the Spanish club.
The Gabonese player was bought from the Premier League club Arsenal for a contract until 30 June 2025 with an option to agree on departure on 30 June 2023. The agreement also involves a buyout clause of €100 million (£83.4 million). The 32-year-old made his debut for Barca on 6 February 2022 as a substitute where his side won 4-2 over Atletico Madrid.
Auba was included in Barca’s starting line-up today against Valencia where he, at the 23rd minute of the game finished in style to Jordi Alba’s assist as his first goal for the team minutes before Frenkie de Jong netted from the six-yard box at 32′ to make it 2-0. One was not enough to home with so the Gabon International did a brace to make it 3-0 just before the half-time whistle at the 38th minute of the game.
After getting totally dominated in the first half, Valencia bounced back with one at 52′ where Carlos Soler scored which didn’t last long. Barcelona’s 19-year-old midfielder Pedri took revenge by his stunner for running their clean sheet making it 4-1 at the 63rd minute as the opponents tailed with four goals against them.
After this win, Barcelona currently are at the fourth position of the La Liga points table while rivals Real Madrid stay table-toppers.
