
Arsenal defeated Everton in the English Premier League on Wednesday night, 1st March. The game was played at Emirates stadium (Arsenal’s home Stadium). Some of the Premier League teams were playing their fifth round of the FA Cup. Arsenal are already out of the competition after they got knocked out by Manchester City.
Arsenal and Liverpool had their respective Premier League games and both top teams won their game. Arsenal defeated Everton FC by 4-0 and it was a complete dominance from Mikel Arteta’s men.
Last time when these two teams met at Goodison Park, Everton defeated the league leaders by 1-0. But this time it was all Arsenal in the game. Bukayo Saka, Martinelli, and skipper Martin Odegaard were the goal-scorers in the game against Everton on Wednesday night.
Saka started the scoring in the 40th minute and the Brazilian winger ended it in the 80th to secure the top spot in the table. Arsenal are now 5 points ahead of second-place Manchester City.
