Anthony Martial doubtful for Barcelona’s game despite being back from injury

Anthony Martial is set to be back on pitch after he started training session on Wednesday.

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has returned from injury ahead of their Europa League’s second leg clash against Barcelona, but his participation in the game remains doubtful.

Martial had been sidelined with an injury sustained during United’s win against Manchester City in the Premier League. However, he has now returned to training and but not with the full squad.

Despite his return, United boss Erik ten Hag has stated that Martial is not certain to feature in the crucial second leg against Barcelona.

Martial’s potential absence would be a blow to United, The Frenchman has been not feature in many games for United this season.

The Red Devils go into the second leg with a scoreline of 2-2 from the first leg at Camp Nou and will need to produce a much-improved performance if they are to progress to the semifinals of the competition in their home.
