UEFA Nations league: Spain hosted Ukraine in the UEFA Nation league Group D match at the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium in Madrid. Spain defeated Ukraine by 4-0 showcasing a dominating performance, Team captain Sergio Ramos had a brace while Ansu Fati scored his first goal for Spain to become the youngest Spanish player ever to do so.
Fati had a good start to the game as he cut from the left wing and dribble past the defenders and was fouled inside the penalty box which resulted in a penalty which was converted by Sergio Ramos in the 3rd minute itself, Fati was a constant threat down the wings and it was in the 32nd minute Fati cut in from the left wing cutting inside and curling the ball into the corner, Fati is just 17-year 311 day old and already has his senior goal for the Spanish National team.
Ramos then added the 3rd with a looping header in the 29th minute as Spain asserted dominance throughout the game, another youngster Ferran Torres made it 4 late in the second half of the game, Luis Enrique’s side came from a match against Germany in which they equalized late to make it 1-1, on the other hand Germany again fell short on their efforts as they could only manage a 1-1 draw against Switzerland.
