Another Real Madrid player may leave this summer, no signs of extending his contract

The player has recently been associated with a lengthy variety of teams, including Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, AC Milan, Juventus, Newcastle United, and others.

Real Madrid had a busy summer transfer window, but unexpectedly, they placed more of their attention on letting players go than on bringing in new players. After spending a lot of time and success at Santiago Bernabeu, players like Casemiro, Gareth Bale, Marcelo, and Isco ultimately left the club.

On the other hand, the Spanish giants did sign Antonio Rudiger and Aurelien Tchouameni. While the defender seems like a good addition, Real Madrid may look back on the midfielder from France as a brilliant decision given how impressive he has been thus far.

However, given that Marco Asensio’s current contract is slated to expire in the summer of 2019, there might be additional activity at the club in January as well. Newcastle United may soon have the chance to get Asensio at a discount, according to Newcastle World. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano, the Italian journalist and football transfer expert commented on Asensio’s current Real Madrid situation, “So the January market depends on how these clubs will move on a potential free transfer for next summer or for another it will try to extend this contract but at the moment, still no agreement with Asensio and he wants to feel important.”

Because Asensio is not currently expected to extend his current contract with Real Madrid, his departure in January should not come as a huge surprise to anyone.
As a result, January may be Real Madrid’s only chance to receive a transfer money from the Spaniard’s exit since he will be a free agent in the summer of 2019. Asensio has recently been associated with a lengthy variety of teams, including Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, AC Milan, Juventus, Newcastle United, and others.
