Manchester United’s manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that their Star forward Amad who recently signed a new deal at the club will be out for the rest of the season due to an injury in the training. Ahead of the Spurs’ game, Amad picked up this injury and now he will have to undergo a surgery as per reports.
Manchester United’s attacking options have taken a significant hit after manager Ruben Amorim confirmed that Amad Diallo will be sidelined for the rest of the season due to an injury sustained in training. The young forward, who recently committed his future to the club with a new deal, suffered the setback ahead of United’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur.
According to reports, Amad will require surgery, ruling him out for the remainder of the campaign. Following United’s 1-0 defeat to Spurs, Amorim addressed the situation, acknowledging the growing list of setbacks his team has faced.
“I think Amad Diallo will be out for the rest of the season. There are seasons where everything happens at the same time. Maybe we will find new ways to create situations,” the United boss stated.
The injury comes as a huge disappointment for both Amad and the club, especially after the 21-year-old’s promising displays in recent weeks.
