Alvaro Odriozola, Real Madrid’s loaned player talks about his future

Real Madrid loaned player Alvaro Odriozola wants to concentrate on what’s in front.

Alvaro Odriozola was a part of Spain’s 2018 FIFA World Cup roster and signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid in 2018. While things may not have gone as expected at Madrid, he went on loan to Bayern Munich and now to Fiorentina.

At Fiorentina, Alvaro Odriozola has rediscovered his sparkle. The right-back, who is on loan from Real Madrid in the group viola this season, has appeared in 21 games, 16 of them as a regular. And, despite being fully focused and involved in the battle for European spots with the Italian squad – the Florence club is in seventh place with 42 points, 5 points behind fourth place.

The Spanish winger, who joined the Santiago Bernabéu for 40 million euros in the summer of 2018, is relishing opportunities he hasn’t had since leaving the texture-order team.

Alvaro Odriozola decided to leave the white squad on loan again during the summer transfer market, this time to Florence, after serving the second of the 2019/2020 season with Bayern Munich. Even though it was Carlo Ancelotti who urged the right-back to join the Viola team.

Alvaro seems happy in his stay at Fiorentina and is only focussing on delivering his best at the club right now.
“I’m enjoying the present then we’ll see at the right moment. I don’t miss anything – I’m happy at Fiorentina. Coppa Italia is my Champions League”, he told Tuttosport as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
