Al Ittihad has finally reached an agreement with Ajax to sign their winger Steven Bergwijn. The player will be playing for the Saudi side now as the deal of €20 million has been sealed. The former Tottenham Hotspur’s star didn’t have any problem in joining the side. The medical has however completed but the official announcement is still pending.
The Saudi Pro League side is set to welcome the Dutch international, who has agreed to make the move to the Middle East. Bergwijn, a former Tottenham Hotspur star, did not hesitate in accepting the offer to join Al Ittihad.
The player is keen to embark on a new chapter in his career after spending the past year with Ajax in the Eredivisie. Known for his speed, dribbling ability, and knack for scoring crucial goals, Bergwijn is expected to be a significant addition to Al Ittihad’s squad.
Although the medical examinations have been completed, the official announcement from both clubs is still pending. Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation of the transfer, which is expected to bolster Al Ittihad’s attacking options ahead of the new season.
