Aguero plans to return to Argentina national football team

Sergio Aguero could be with the Argentinian team for the 2022 World Cup.

Three months after retiring from football, Sergio ‘Kun’ Aguero, announced that he will be back in the football world for the upcoming World Cup. He had talks with the President of Argentine Football Association (AFA) and the team’s coach before announcing his return.

“I’m going to Qatar,” Aguero told TyC Sports after the meeting.

Although his role is not confirmed yet, he wants to be around his previous teammates and help the team as much as he can, while having fun. He says he wants to enjoy retirement, and do the things he was not able to when he was a professional player.

If he had not retired from professional football due to a heart condition, he was going to be one of the players in consideration for the forward position.

While playing Alaves in October, Aguero suffered from dizziness and chest pain. After appropriate medical tests, the Argentine striker was ruled out for three months, and within that time he decided to retire forever at the age of 33.

The all time leading goal scorer of English giants, Manchester City, is now barely able to complete a run on the treadmill and a game of football tennis without running out of breath.

Although he had a glorious career at Manchester City, his time at Barca was short lived. He moved to the Catalans in the summer, but he was not allowed to play until the end of August. As the club could not register new signings according to the Spanish financial fair rules, he had to wait till September to play his first game. And almost within 2 months, horrible news struck him.

Moments like ‘Agueroooooooooooo’ can never be created again, but it will definitely be good to see him back in the world of football.
