After nearly one month of treatment, Pele discharges from the hospital

Pele is back home after getting discharged from the hospital. He was being there for his treatment for nearly a month.

Pele was admitted to the hospital earlier in September to remove a tumor from his colon, The Brazilian legend spent nearly a month in the hospital before being discharged on Thursday, Doctors say that the 80-year-old is stable and continues his chemotherapy.

Writing to his Instagram on Thursday night Pele said, “when the path is difficult to celebrate each step of the journey, Focus on the happiness. I am happy to be back at home. I want to thank the entire Albert Einstein hospital team who made my stay a pleasant one with a humane and very affectionate welcome.”

Pele was previously discharged from the hospital on September 14 but then again doctors concerned about his health recommended him to return within a week. The Brazilian forward helped brazil to the world cup glory in 1958,1962, and 1970 and is regarded as one of the greatest of all time. He is currently the leading scorer of brazil with 77 goals with Neymar only on 69 for the Brazilian national team.

Officially, Pele has scored a whopping 757 goals during his magnificent career although Santos the club in Brazil where he spent the majority of his club career claims that the Brazilian has scored more than 1000 goals.
