The Bundesliga table is starting to look like a competition after Bayern Munich drew two games in a row recently. However they are still leading the table but could be moved behind if their form continues like this. Their biggest rival in the league Borussia Dortmund played against Bayern Leverkusen on Sunday, 29th January.
Borussia Dortmund defeated the host by 2-0 to earn important three points which can help them go top of the Bundesliga (2022/23) points table. Borussia Dortmund’s forward named K. Adeyemi scored the first goal of the game which was a good girl to start off. Leading at half-time and winning in the full-time was a bit easy for the visitors.
The second goal of the game was an own goal which came from Leverkusen’s defender Tapsoba’s leg. Leverkusen scored it in their own net to confirm Borussia Dortmund’s victory in the game. Now, the yellow side remain at 4th position with 34 points in the Bundesliga points table. There is a tough competition between Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Union Berlin, and RB Leipzig.
