AC Milan’s manager Pioli speaks about Rafael Leao’s future

AC Milan’s manager feels Rafa Leao will stay in the club for the next season as well.

Portuguese forward Rafael Leao is rumored to leave the Serie A club named AC Milan in the next transfer window. Leao’s contract is expiring and there is a rumor that he won’t be extending his contract with the club as he is interested in joining other big European clubs.

Rafa Leao is tempted by some of the English Premier League clubs and wants some new challenges. The Portuguese forward went to the World Cup and also played some games under Fernando Santos (the former Portugal national football team’s manager). Rafa Leao is a great right winger and can also play as a center-forward. Rafael Leao is reportedly not happy at AC Milan but the manager of the club named Pioli denied this and said the forward will remain at the club in the next season as well.

“I advise him to sign a new deal and stay in Milan. I see Rafa very happy here. Leão here will have the chance to improve again, he feels good at Milan with this group,” said AC Milan’s manager Pioli to Sky Sports.

Chelsea is also interested in signing Rafa Leao and not only them but the Red Devils (Manchester United) as well.
