Fulham United beat Chelsea by 2-1 in the English Premier League on Thursday night, 12th January. There was a debutant in the game playing for Chelsea. Joao Felix who they signed from Atletico Madrid on loan until the end of the season had a debut to forget last night.
Joao Felix was signed a day before he made his debut for Chelsea as manager Graham Potter already made up his mind to include the Portuguese forward into the starting XI for this game against Fulham in the English Premier league. Joao Felix had a decent first half however he wasn’t seen on the ball much.
Joao Felix in the second half was sent off by the Referee for the poor challenge on Fulham’s striker Carlos Vinicius. This was an open foot slide from Joao Felix. Even Chelsea players knew that was a bad challenge from Felix. He had no other option but to leave the pitch in the 58th minute and Chelsea were down to 10-men.
