2022 FIFA World Cup: Final Draw and broadcasting details

The much-awaited FIFA World Cup will take place in Qatar this year with a total of 32 teams competing for the golden trophy. However, the group stages will be held ahead of the knockout stages which are scheduled to be held later in November.

The draw for group stages took place today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre at 9:30 pm IST with 32 teams in eight groups of four in their respective pots according to the FIFA World Rankings.

But Qatar being the hosts, was favoured by placing them in the first stage, amidst the top seven ranked internationals according to the FIFA World Rankings.

The groups for the final draw are as follows:

Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal and Netherlands are in Group A.

England, IR Iran, USA, Euro play-off in Group B.

Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Poland are in Group C.

France, IC Play-off, Denmark, Tunisia in Group D.

Spain, IC Play-off2, Germany, and Japan are in Group E.

Belgium, Canada, Morocco, and Croatia are in Group F.

Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon are in Group G.

Portugal, Ghana, Uruguay, Korea Republic are in Group H.

The final stages of the World Cup will be played between November 21, 2022, to December 18 at 3:30 pm IST in Doha which will showcase the gripping scenes of teams closing the gap for a glorious victory.
