PM Narendra Modi admires India’s fightback against Australia as a ‘huge life lesson’

In the second innings of first India vs Australia test, India suffered one of the most embarrassing defeat in its entire history of cricket after being bundled up for just 36 runs. Ajinkya Rahane and his men crossed over all the hurdles and registered a historic win on Australian soil.

After several days since India made history by defeating Australia in Gabba test series, the positive outlook shown by team India was admired by Indian PM Narendra Modi.

In a virtual address to the outgoing students of the Tezpur university, PM Modi emphasized the importance of how a positive outlook can help to vanquish biggest challenges by giving example of team India he said, “The best example is our cricket team which faced so many hurdles. We lost badly but we fought back and crossed over all the under challenging conditions. They had less experience but they were high on their confidence and they created history. This cricket Victory is a huge life lesson. So we need to make our mindset positive.”

After winning the final test series against Australia, Modi tweeted a tweet on twitter to congratulate Indian team on their historic win.

He tweeted that, “we are all overjoyed at the success of the Indian cricket Team in Australia. Their remarkable energy and passion was visible throughout. So it was their stellar intent, remarkable gift and determination. Congratulations to the team! Best wishses for your future endeavours.”
