Tokyo Olympics: Neeraj Chopra creates history by winning Gold Medal in Men’s Javelin throw

The sensational performance by Indian Athlete carried a burden of Billions of fans and grabbed the Gold for India. History has been created being the only Gold Medal for India in Tokyo 2020.

Neeraj Chopra created history by winning the Gold medal in Men’s Javelin throw. His Second throw of 87.58 grabbed all the attention and a Target was set for his Opponents at the start of the Event only and his confidence was at a level that made all the Indians. J.Vadlech(86.67) and V. Vesley'(85.44) both from the Czech Republic grabbed Silver and Bronze respectively

Neeraj Chopra Asian gold medalist had the highest hopes of getting the first-ever medal for India in Track and Feild Events. He qualified the first round with his first throw of 86.65m though the other two throws were illegal. Neeraj Chopra started with a lead by throwing a marvellous 87.03m and the second throw with an improvement by setting the goal of 87.58 for opponents.

The format goes like after the First three attempts the top 8 out of 12 athletes gets another 3 chances to improve and the best of the 6 distance is counted as the final one.J.Vetter of Germany known as Usain Bolt of Javelin Throw and World ranking no.1 was thrashed out in the first round only being the favourite for the event.

Neeraj Chopra was also the favourite after finishing at the top in Group A and he also had the highest distance among all the groups. His confidence and the Indian support for this Athlete was at top-notch. An Inspiration for Upcoming Athletes a target is being created and the last Indian Event for the Tokyo Olympics fulfilled all the dreams of the Indian Contingent and what an end with the Indian flag at the top.
