Avinash Sable, India’s ace steeplechase runner, crashes out of 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris Olympics 2024. It is not a fairytale finish for Sable as he finishes outside the top 10 with a timing of 8:14.8.
Sable is placed 11th in the race where Moroccan Soufiane El Bakkali defended his gold with a stunning finish as he recorded his season’s best of 08:06.05.
Meanwhile, second and third position have been secured by USA’s K. Rooks and Kenya’s A. Kibiwot, respectively. During the final lap, the competition grew fierce as the latter registered timing of 08:06.47, while the former registered 08:06.41.
