Indian lost two matches in FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup Bhubaneswar 2021 straight inline. First, they lost their match against Germany and stayed back from the Finals and this time against France by 1-3. This was the last chance for Junior Men’s Hockey Team to score a medal for India this season in the tournament. But they lost the fight for 3rd position against France and finish this Junior Hockey World Cup 2021 standing at 4th position. In the match today the skipper of the French team Timothy Clement again scored a hat-trick against the hosting team, which is India. And that Hat-trick took the team France to lead to a podium finish against India at their Home ground, Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar.
The first goal of Timothy Clement was shot at 26th minute with no mistake through a penalty corner and a green card to Shardanand Tiwari. Timothy doubles the lead for his team with his second goal at the 34th minute.
At 42min India got an opportunity to free hit and Sudeep open team India’s Account from no goal to 1, and the score changed to 1-2. 47th minute Timothy of France team bags another Hat-trick with his third goal against India and deservedly won the player of the match and a Bronze for team France.
