What to expect from 2021-22 NBA season

With NBA starting tomorrow, here is what we should expect from the season.

NBA has finally arrived after a 3 months break with 2  banger games in the season opener, Brooklyn Nets vs Milwaukee Bucks, and LA Lakers vs Golden State Warriors, both will telecast back-to-back games at 5:30 AM and 8:30 AM IST, respectively. LeBron and Curry will play their first game head to head after the mind-blowing Play-In tournament game.

With Gianni’s improved jumper league seems to be in more trouble as he is fixing his weakness and THE WALL may not work anymore. Giannis remains the beast of the beast claiming that title over KD in the 2nd round against Nets, Kevin Durant, Harden, and maybe Kyrie if his covid situation is fixed will look to seek revenge and will continue to hunt their first title together. Even though east has always been a comparatively weaker conference, Philadelphia, Heats, Celtics are teams who have grown into the finals contention and my dark horse will be the freshly built Bulls with Caruso, Lonzo Ball, Demar Derozan, Vucevich, and Zach always pushing the pace.

With West, it seems to be wide-open for the Lakers because of their re-build with Westbrook and many veteran players BUT with Klay Thompson making his return after 2 years, the old and gold Splash Brothers will be back, there have been reports that Clipper’s Kawhi will return by March or May from his slight Achilles rupture in the knee. The reigning MVP will be reuniting back with his crime in partner Jamal Murray and the previous no.1 team in the west Jazz are here to stay with their star Donovan Mitchell and reigning DPOY Rudy Gobert, last but not the least the Suns with Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Ayton made finals with their high paced, high IQ and ability to shoot 3s is exceptional.  My dark horse for the west is with the young talented star Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, Luka can carry a team and with the new head coach and NBA championship winner Jason Kidd, Luka will only shine more and excel.
