Stephen Curry & Miles Bridges named the first player of the week

Curry and Bridges were named the player of the week from their respective conferences with a 3-0 record.

The 2 times MVP, won the 2021/22 NBA season first western conference player of the week. He was able to put the team away on his back to 3 straight wins while averaging 31 points, unbelievable 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. He became the first player ever since Lucas 1970/71 to win the first player of the week in the western conference. Curry also run away with the player of the week award for Warriors by 13 which is in total 17.

Curry started this week by posting his 8th career triple-double to get a win against the heavy favourites Lakers. Then he went off against the Clippers without missing a shot in the first half and ended the game with two clutch back-to-back threes to seal the deal and ended up with 45 points. His 3rd game against the Sacramento Kings again led the team with scoring. Curry capped the week with 27 points, 10 assists, and seven rebounds and became the first Warrior ever to stack up and eclipse the 5,000-assist milestone (69th player in NBA history).

Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets also got a player of their own Miles Bridges, he won the eastern conference player of the week. He took his team to a 3-0 winning streak and at the top of the eastern conference. Bridges dropped back to back 30+ points to put the team at the top of the table. He averaged 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists in the stretch. A well-deserved accomplishment.
