Reigning MVP Jokic defeats 2021 runner up Devin Booker & the Phoenix Suns

Finals runner up the Phoenix Suns with a bad start losing to the reigning to the MVP Nikola Jokic 110-98.

With the 2021-22 season beginning, the Sun’s fans have new hopes of finally winning a championship, after adding CP3 they saw a major change in the organization which led them to 2nd seed in the western conference and runner up in the finals. Nuggets with their MVP Nikola Jokic, also have expectations and with their 2nd scorer/star coming back from injury, this will be a team to look out for. Suns were defeated by 110-98.

In the first half, we saw a much skilled Ayton who dominated in the playoffs in the post, he scored 8 points in 5 minutes, their main scorer Devin Booker had a rough night, he couldn’t find his shot and rhythm, Nuggets went on 13-0 run thanks Aron Gordan and the MVP led the team in scoring by 15 points with a buzzer from 28-ft to end the half.

Phoenix overall had a bad shooting night with the whole team shooting just 41% from the field compared to 53% by Nuggets, Nikola Jokic led the whole team with a double-double with 27 points and 13 boards on a very efficient night going just 13 of 22 i.e 59% from the field, looks like MVP hasn’t missed a beat. The big 3 in Suns was very sluggish and had no fire within them, it can maybe because of their run to the NBA finals, Booker had an awful night scoring 12 points in just 3/15, Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton both had 15 points too.
