In the past few days, there have been speculations regarding a trade that would see Houston Rockets’ Russell Westbrook join Bradley Beal at the Washington Wizards. According to several reports, Westbrook wants out of Houston due to the failure of the organization to achieve any real success last season and also wants to start a new journey elsewhere. According to Bill Simmons, Westbrook could join the Wizards and it’s a trade that is being pushed by Bradley Beal.
“I thought Westbrook was going to Washington. And I had heard that Bradley Beal was driving the Westbrook thing and that they were actually going to include a pick potentially and it wasn’t just a one-for-one that they were actually putting in more.”
After teammate John Wall’s injuries that have kept him out of action since 2 years, Beal has been the face of the franchise. He averaged 30.5 points and 6.1 assists in the 2019-20 season. His points average were only second to LeBron James.
