NBA releases it’s official NBA MVP ladder, Kevin Durant on top

Kevin Durant and Steph Curry leads the ladder as no.1 and no. 2 respectively.

Former teammates lead the ladder of NBA’s most prestigious award MVP, Stephen Curry and KD are ranked no. 2 and no. 1 followed by a surprising Jimmy Butler.

Nets who struggled at the starting of the season with a 2-3 record, since then KD has picked up the team alone with Harden facilitating the ball. KD till now is averaging 28.3 points per game, 8.6 boards, and 5.3 assists and led his team to a 5-3 record which is 5th best in the East.


Already 2 times MVP Stephen Curry who finished 3rd in MVP voting last year is right at 2nd position with the 2nd best record in the tougher Western Conference with a surprising 6-1 record, all this without his 2nd star Klay Thompson who is set to return on Christmas day. Curry almost averaging 27 points, a career-high 7.6 boards, and 6.9 assists.

From 3rd position is where things get shaky only because it is the start of the season, Jimmy Butler is averaging 25 points, almost 7 rebounds, and 5.6 assists, and his team Miami Heat is in 2nd position with a 6-2 record. Ja Morant, the young star, and mid-range sniper Demar Derozan are at 4th and 5th position.

Surprisingly there is no LeBron James in a 10 player list and the reigning MVP Nikola Jokic is at no. 10 and Paul George who has been having a great season averaging 29 points, 4.7 assists, and 7.7 rebounds.
