NBA Playoffs: Phoenix Suns are just 1 win away from reaching the NBA Finals as they lead 3-1 series vs LA Clippers

Phoenix Suns, are now one game away from the NBA finals after they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 84-80 in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals today and took a 3-1 series lead.

Deandre Ayton dominated yet again, after his brilliant performance in Game 2 in which the player had scored career-high 24 points and 14 rebounds. He scored huge 19-points with 22 rebounds to contribute to the Sun’s Game 4 victory, with this performance, Ayton became the NBA fantasy player of the day. His 9 offensive rebounds of today’s game were the most by a Sun’s player in an NBA Playoffs since Charles Barkley with 10 on June 5, 1993. He has had his equitable contribution of clutch moments against the LA Clippers in the series and shot at least 50% from the field in each of his first 13 career playoff games which is the longest such streak in the shot clock era.

Ayton arrived at Game 4 with some distinctive fashion alternative as his t-shirt presented an image of teammate Devin Booker with his broken nose. Booker had to go off in Game 2 for the locker room with a nose injury after a bloody collision between him and opponent Patrick Beverley. That was a very unique way of him supporting his team partner.

Game 5 is scheduled for Tuesday, 29 June at 6:30 am where Phoenix Suns will claim to secure their place at the NBA finals.
