Lakers might not make Playoffs because of Pelicans

The Pelicans have won 4 in a row and might push the Lakers to 10th place.

The Lakers have been pathetic this season, to say the least. They have now lost 4 games in a row and are in 9th place this season. This was a team that was supposed to be frontrunners for the NBA championship but have fallen from grace. They have failed to live up to the hype and have disappointed fans all around the world. Now they have a team coming for their heads – The New Orleans Pelicans.

After the Pelicans beat the Lakers at Crypto.com arena, they put it in their Twitter Bio that they beat the Lakers in Los Angeles.  Now the Pelicans are moving to get the 9 seed from the Lakers. The Lakers have now lost 4 straight and have one of the toughest schedules left. If the Pelicans beat them and the Blazers win games too, the Lakers might be out of the Play-in games let alone the Playoffs.

The Lakers as they are right now would have to play 2 Play-in games and win both of them to be in the Playoffs. Right now they would have to play against the Pelicans and the loser of the game between the Clippers and the Timberwolves. They could easily lose a game against one of those teams and be knocked out of the Playoffs.

The Pelicans have become a very dangerous team after the signing of CJ McCollum. They have won 4 straight and it doesn’t look like they are going to stop winning any time soon. It is also important to note that they have not had the services of one of their best players. Zion Williamson has been out due to a foot injury and once he is back this team will only get much more dangerous.
