Lakers big three go for combined 84 points on a win against Houston Rockets

Lakers with a close win in the 4th quarter against Houston Rockets 119-117, they have now won their 3rd straight game.

Lakers big three i.e LeBron James, Russel Westbrook, and Anthony Davis went for combined 84 points to win against the now 1-6 Houston Rockets. Lakers’ new lineup of Anthony Davis at the centre position has played out well as it gives Lakers more spacing on the floor for Russ and LeBron to attack and also gives them more versatility on the defensive end with AD’s ability to switch on multiple positions.

Lakers came out sluggish and could not compete with the faster legs of the Houston Rockets whom they defeated 95-85, despite the Lakers big three scoring 16, 15, and 12 points in the first half and being as efficient as possible they were down by 6 points in the first half 70-64. It was 3rd quarter where Russel Westbrook put his head down and attacked the paint to score 13 points in just 3rd quarter alone. Yet the Lakers were down by 2 points. 4th quarter was where LeBron put his foot on the gas and scored Lakers 10 straight points, he drove and moved bodies like nothing, nobody could stop him in the paint, his 14 points in the 4th quarter helped the Lakers to take the lead and ultimately win the game by 119-117. The Rockets gave a fight closing in the last second by scoring back to back three-pointers but could not walk away with a win
