Kevin Durant’s 29 points triple-double get Nets their first win of the season

Kevin Durant recorded his 13th triple-double of his career to get a close win against the Philadelphia Sixers by 114-09.

Philly after an impressive win in their first match in which their 2nd star was suspended for his lack of effort in the practice are now seem to miss Ben Simmons all NBA defence, KD who can pull his shot over anybody can get some problems if Simmons is on the other side guarding him, his 6’10 frame and his agility can create some problem for him. Regardless KD went for 29 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists which is a lot for his game as he is known as a killer scorer. James Harden also passed Kyle Korver for all-time 3 pointers made and is now at the 4th position behind Reggie Miller.

First was in the favor of the Sixers, they were up by as many as 12 points in the late 2nd quarter, but unable to get stops KD and Harden cut the lead by 7, 55-62, Embiid whose knee was sore from the New Orleans game was not fit enough to play another game and played 29 minutes and ended up with just 19 points. Even with all the difficulty Sixers are going through, their depth and starting line-up are showing signs of improvement, Seth Curry and Tobias scored 23 points. their new addition Aldrige took over the game in the 4th quarter and came back from 14 points deficit scoring 13 points in the 4th quarter itself by going 5/5 from the field.


Even after their first win against a finals competitor, their situation has still not improved as Kyrie’s, their 3rd star has been reluctant to get the vaccine and until he can’t get the vaccine shots he can not participate with the team.
