Russell Westbrook opens up about his not so good relationship with the recently fired head coach Frank Vogel. The 48-year-old American professional basketball coach managed his last game as the Lakers played their last regular season fixture yesterday.
“I’m not sure what his issue was with me,” Russell Westbrook stated about Frank Vogel, reported ESPN. He further said that he was not aware of why things didn’t work between the two and that he can’t really answer about the disconnection.
The Lakers point guard said that it was unfortunate but he never had any issues before with any of the coaches, reported ESPN as Westbrook opened up about the unhappy connection with Vogel in the exit interview with the Lakers’ front office.
Westbrook appeared for 78 games where he averaged 18.5 points on 44.4% shooting (29.8% from 3), 7.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.
