Kabaddi will resound in India, PKL 8 to start from next month

Pro kabaddi league to begin from 22 December after two years of long break.

A sport known as a Indian cultural and traditional sport, will begin soon. The eighth edition of Pro Kabaddi League , which attracts a new generation to Kabaddi, will start from December 2021. The game has been transferred from soil to mat, still the rivalry and fun did not diminish. Meanwhile the Pro Kabaddi Season 8 will start after 2 years of wait. The organizers of Pro Kabaddi League, Mashal Sports, announced that the season 8 will start from December 22, 2021 in Bengaluru. For the safety of players and officials the league will be held without audience at a single venue Bengaluru, the multi-city format will not applicable for this season.

Mashal sports also stated that “We are very privileged that Season 8 of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League will be hosted in Karnataka, especially as this state is a very significant geography for kabaddi and PKL (Pro Kabaddi League) fans in India.” Bengaluru City can easily conduct all the big competitive sports events with best safety practices. They have also mentioned in their statement that they look forward to demonstrating this with Pro Kabaddi League Season 8.

This season will be conducted as bio-secure bubble rule and following the Government covid rules and regulations. 12 teams will be playing in PKL 8 and the player auctions for the season were conducted from August 29th – 31st, 2021 in Mumbai. Star player Pardeep Narwal sold out for highest price. UP Yodha purchased him for 1.65 cr.
