One of the best all-rounders Ben Stokes has decided to opt-out of IPL in 2022. Stokes considers taking this decision to manage his workload. According to British media, Stokes wants to be mentally prepared for the next home season of England.
Underperformance in Ashes can be one of the reasons Stokes focuses on England’s next home season. Stokes struggled to play up to mark in the Ashes as he only scored 236 runs and took a total of 4 wickets throughout the series. Australia won the Ashes, leading by 4-0.
Ben Stokes had an advantageous opportunity to get sold in one of the richest cricketing premier leagues as his raise, according to past performance and statistics, might have gone higher. But Stokes, not bothering about a good deal, thinks of taking a break and investing his time for the nation’s team.
