India beat China in Women’s Asia Cup Hockey to clinch the bronze medal

On Friday, the Indian women’s hockey team beat Team China to clinch the third position. In the Women’s Asia Cup Hockey tournament held in Muscat, Oman.

Team India hold back their proceedings in the initial two quarters. But managed to register two goals in the process, during the halftime of the match. Which help them to take a lead by 2-0 over the game against Team China.

However, team India failed to score any more extra goals against China, during the second half of the match.

India made a bright start in the match. In the 13th minute of the match, Gurjit Kaur’s initial Flick towards the goal was saved by the opponent’s defense. Which rebound and Sharmila Devi bring out a good goal through a couple of penalty corners, India received.
