Saudi Arabian GP Marshal Fired After “hoping” a Wreck on Lewis Hamilton

The marshal was dismissed after making harsh remarks against Lewis Hamilton on Twitter.


Following a tweet in which the individual expressed for Lewis Hamilton to have an accident akin to Romain Grosjean’s fiery disaster in the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix.

According to ESPN, the tweet was written in Arabic and posted on Saturday morning, and it said, “I hope he has an accident like Romain in Bahrain.”

The tweet was posted by a marshal working at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take no further part in the event after sharing a message on Twitter in which he hoped Lewis Hamilton would have an accident similar to Romain Grosjean.

Grosjean’s car collided with a metal barrier at 119 mph on Nov. 29, 2020, resulting in a spectacular conflagration at the Bahrain Grand Prix. According to the crash report, the impact was 67 Gs, which is equivalent to 67 times his body weight. In an F1 car, hard braking produces around six Gs.
