With the disappearance of the seven-time world champion from social media following the controversial Formula 1 finale, if anything has made rounds over the motorsport world, it would be the hinting of the retirement of Sir Lewis Hamilton.

Despite the tough loss experienced by Lewis, the driver put up a class act by congratulating Max Verstappen upfront who broke the Brit’s winning streak for seven years straight. The battle between the two has cost Hamilton both the face of formula one and the world championship title despite his prior and advanced racing experience.

The controversy was regarding the rules set by the FIA to restrict the overlapping of cars during the presence of safety cars which was broken by the Dutchman and further overruled hence, explaining the splits in the formula one community. Lewis admits that he had once lost all faith in the system but refuses to be defied by such circumstances surrounding his career and is very determined to welcome the 2022 season with a full swing for the fans waiting.

Although the  FIA had decided the championship title and winner of the Abu Dhabi race despite the appeal by the Mercedes team, the formula one community was not convinced with the same thereby dividing the community into two. The thence disappearance of the Mercedes driver has caught the attention of many motorsport lovers and the same has risen to the speculation of Lewis’ career. Although Lewis has competitively assured his comeback he also came onto support the new season rival, George Russel, for a captivating season ahead.
