Max Verstappen, the Red Bull driver, has expressed his awe at drawing level with legendary racer Ayrton Senna on Formula 1’s all-time victory list. Verstappen’s win at the Canadian Grand Prix marked his 41st career triumph, putting him on par with Senna.
The Dutch driver led Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in a memorable race in Montreal, also securing Red Bull’s 100th victory.
Reflecting on the milestone, Verstappen admitted that as a child, he could never have imagined winning 41 Grands Prix and acknowledged the incredible feat of matching Senna’s record. He expressed his hope for continued success and the prospect of winning more races.
