Arsenal defender William Saliba has delivered a powerful message to fans, insisting that the Gunners are determined to turn admiration into silverware after another trophyless campaign. Speaking about Arsenal’s defensive partnership, Saliba labelled himself and his centre-back partner as the “world’s best CBs duo,” but stressed that such claims mean nothing without titles to back them up.

The French international admitted frustration over finishing the season empty-handed and made it clear that the squad’s ambition is firmly set on winning every available competition. “I am tired to finish the season without nothing in my pockets,” Saliba said, underlining the hunger within Mikel Arteta’s side to finally get over the line.

Arsenal came agonisingly close to success last season, pushing Manchester City deep into the Premier League title race while also competing strongly in domestic cup competitions and Europe. However, Saliba believes near-misses are no longer enough for a team with Arsenal’s quality and expectations.

“My pocket was empty last year, now we want to win everything,” he added, naming the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup as key targets. While acknowledging the difficulty of competing on multiple fronts, Saliba insisted the team is ready to give everything on the pitch to achieve their goals.
