Manchester United have secured the future of one of their brightest academy talents, as Kobbie Mainoo has verbally agreed all terms on a new contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until June 2031.

According to trusted transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the 21-year-old midfielder has finalised personal terms with the club, including a significant salary increase. The deal is expected to be officially signed and announced before the end of the current 2025/26 season, with reports suggesting Mainoo could put pen to paper as early as this week.
